You will assist develop solutions and deliver a collaborative approach in resolving issues. Your "boots on the ground" mentality and customer focused skills will be critical to your success.The successful candidate will the following attributes:Health and Safety AdvisorHave a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in an established health and safety advisory role preferably from a Port or other industrial environment (civil, building, construction)Have experience in conducting incident investigations and preparing reports using 5Y’s and ICAM and other recognized models of investigation.Junior Health and Safety Advisor1 to 2 years’ health and safety coordinator or junior advisor experience.For both roles:Hold relevant Health and Safety qualifications from a professional body, ideally hold a minimum of NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or be willing to complete this as part of their employment) or other recognized professional tertiary health and safety qualification.Have the courage, credibility, and confidence to successfully support the business in driving a positive culture change.Be able to deliver with a focus on passion for innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.Be confident in producing quality documentation through engagement and presenting your findings with practical recommendations.Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.Have a focus on building trusting relationships, and solid conflict management skills, with the ability to deal with and influence a diverse range of people in different situations.Be able to work independently and as part of the team with an emphasis on practical problem solving.With a strong set of Values and focus on Health and Safety, CentrePort is a great place to work.  We offer life and disability and income protection insurances, free car parking available on site, wellbeing initiatives, discounts with partner organisations and learning and development opportunities. CentrePort supports an environment of diversity and inclusion.  We are committed to equal employment opportunities and therefore, encourage applications from different backgrounds.
