You will need to complete an online application which includes your contact details, the types of roles you are interested in, remuneration expectations, criminal and medical history and your right to work in NZ.
A good cover letter will highlight your most relevant skills and qualifications for the role. This is a good way to show us what you want us to know about you and why you are the best person for the job!
Make sure your Curriculum Vitae is up to date, include the dates you were employed in each role, as well as a summary of responsibilities and key achievements. And remember to include your contact details and watch out for those typos!
Once we receive your application, we’ll send you an email to confirm. We will get back to you via phone or email once we have completed our shortlisting process. This can sometimes take a couple of weeks.
If we like what we see then we may call you to discuss your application, and the role in more detail.
The interview panel will consist of two or three people and will take approximately one hour including time allocated for you to ask questions. We may have a second interview, or a chat over coffee. This way you can get a second look at us and ask any additional questions, and so can we.
If you are selected as the preferred candidate after the interview we’ll be in touch to let you know what happens next. For candidates who are unsuccessful, we’ll call you as soon as we can, to provide you with feedback.
You may be asked to complete ability assessments and/or personality profiling. We use an external organisation for this. These are completed online at a time that suits you.
If you are our preferred candidate, we’ll provide you with a conditional offer. This lets you know we want you on board, subject to a number of pre-employment checks, which are outlined below. We will ask for your consent before we complete these.
We’re committed to health and safety. We are an alcohol and drug free work place and pre-employment testing is mandatory.
We will do reference checks near the end of the process. We typically contact two managers, one current and one who you have reported to in the past.
We will contact you as soon as the pre-employment checks have been completed at this stage, we’ll confirm a mutually convenient start date and confirm this in writing. We’ll provide you with some information about your start date and your induction process.
